Hi All,

New to this site but been here before for research.

Anyway just bought my second Z4 and looking for tips and guidance about various mods and upgrades. Currently trying to sort out the folding mirrors on locking the car with fob. Hope to try this again tomorrow having found quite a few posts about this here:

Hi John, I too wanted my mirrors to fold in when I lock the car and vice versa, so I bought a smart top. I believe it can be done by coding the car somehow. The smart top is a great mod for any E89 and does all other things not just the folding mirrors bit. I can’t believe no one has asked for pictures of your car yet………

Welcome, John. Lots on here in terms of advice and where there isn't, lots of knowledge. One of the more informative car forums out there.

Image uploading can be done by writing your post, then clicking the Attachments then the Add Files button to upload and insert your pictures by selecting Place Inline.

I had to resize the file to shrink it so it could be uploaded.
2009 35i Deep Sea Blue, standard at present.
Will be selling the old 2010 2.3 Msport soon.

Quick update that I managed to code the mirrors to close on the fob, hooray.
