Hi there!

Hi everyone. About to take the plunge and equip myself with a Z4. Was wondering if anyone could give an opinion on the deals I've managed to negotiate so far?

20i Manual, comfort pack, through storage, metallic paint

36 months PCP, £2000 deposit for £403.52 a month

Does this sound reasonable or do you think there is more to go?

Thanks for any help!

Never bought a new car so can't help there. But welcome along to the forum and hopefully a small bump will get some fresh looks.

New car? What's that? :) Welcome.

p.s. I'm sure that someone helpful [sensible] will be along soon

Welcome , i'm also not at all clued up on the various ways of new car purchase but my maths says after 3 years you've shelled out close to £17k .
What happen's thereafter :? As its clearly not enough to have bought it

Looks like the bog standard deal on the BMW UK website with nothing thrown in from the dealership, think you can do much better !

Probably a catch but i was sat at the lights today opposite BMW Lloyds (Colne Lancs)
A tasty looking Black 640d GranCoupe with the figures £4k down & £349+vat a month on the side :? now that seemed a lot of car for affordable monthly expense but i guess you pay for a year or 2 then hand it back ?

Hello ,
IMHO , it's utter madness to buy new on those terms , specially if it is the hand it back after three years or give us a s**t load more cash type deal , plenty of really good Zeds out there for the right price , you just gotta hunt them down , if needs be pop into your friendly local high street mugging station ,,,, sorry I meant bank !! And get a loan , happy hunting

Thanks guys, plenty to ponder. Does look like I'm still getting mugged off (that's even after negotiating about £100 a month off already!)

Ref buying new, see what you mean but trying to look at cars as an expense not an asset and like to change every couple of years so works for me (if I can get these figures down.)

It depends on the balloon payment and if you plan to keep it or give it back. If you are likely to return it you might be better off with a lease.
