I've finally got round to introducing me and my Z4 2.5i Sport (2007). Its a blast.
I've had the Z a couple of years now and really enjoy driving it with the top down even in the winter (greatly assisted by the heated seats and fantastic heater). It's been said before, but that 6 cylinder sound is fantastic.
Its only done 47,000 miles but works so far include - wheels refurbed by Total Wheel Works in sparkle silver (great job), swap of the runflats for a set of Avons (transforming the road manners), new 3rd brake light and fog lights, ABS pump overhauled (by ECU Testing), roof motor moved (by the mighty Mike), and the usual servicing.
I'm planning on keeping this one although I am often tempted by so many great looking cars for sale on here!
Have attended Z Fest a couple of times and can highly recommend it.
I sometimes take my Z to the Griffins Head's (Papplewick) Wednesday evening Sports Car meet (1st and 3rd Wednesdays starting again in Spring 2019). There's usually fifty or so cars if the weather's good including American cars, super cars and classics. It would be a good place for a Z mini-meet next year as its free entry and there's a good burger van on site (as well as pub grub).
