Hi there everyone

Well, Joe, you're probably already familiar with "Sarah the Palin," but I think that feisty moose shooter returned to the wilds of Alaska. :P

There's fine folks of both genders here, but I've found that driving my coupe around town offers greater exposure to women than sitting on the couch surfing forums.

Oh, and welcome and cheers!

Welcome Joe! With the advance on your new book, I assume plumbing is now the former occupation.

Of course, yours isn't in the same $ neighborhood as her excelency Mrs. Palin.

Hi Joe, and welcome to the forum.

Ya know... I'm gone for a month or so and y'all let two pages go by without properly breaking in a newbie??? WTF?

All right, I'll do it.... Hey Joe, it's tradition for newbies to share pics of their Z so I gotta inform you that

:worthless:

yeah, lol. the cars r great.

It seems obvious to me that Joe is more interested in naked women pics than Zeds?

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the NSFW threads. However, we should have tighter forum control guidelines for spammers and jokers.

jkcma, not sure what could be done TBH. Apart from Joe having an imaginary hot girlfriend, not sure that he has done too much wrong?

You are right that Joe hasn't done anything wrong. I didn't mean to use Joe as an example.

I am talking about simple forum rules such as:

- limit the maximum number of posts for newly registered member
- can't post pics until a certain post count
- close threads that induce conflicts and flamming replies

BTW I apologize for the thread hi-jack. :P

Ditto. Had a much longer response and hit the wrong key :headbang: :headbang:

Needless to say that we could tighten the reigns, but at what cost. You are all adults, right???

TBH you can get too much moderation sometimes, what you'll find it that certain individuals or threads will be watched more often, but I am always amazed at how this forum polices itself. How many threads have been locked? Very very few.

Recently the Top Gear thread has probably been close to some form of intervention, but again it continues by itself, hopefully without anyone getting too offended, and if anyone does they can use the "report post" button and it will get looked at. The boss is keen that nobody locks threads or deletes posts without it being absolutely necessary.

Ooops. Agreed.
