Hi there and Z4 wanted (2.5/3.0)

Hi guys,

Happy New Year and what a great forum, I am a new member so hello to all!

I am looking for a Z4 asap and hope you might be able to help or please get in touch if you have one.

I have been lucky enough to borrow a friends (04 3.0i) several times and he lent it to me to drive to Scotland the week before christmas, I fell in love! Currently inbetween cars and now on the hunt.

Until now I have only really been considering a 3.0i (manual) to say £8k, but would consider a 2.5si (and would welcome your thoughts/advice)....

Just came across your post and I have a Z4 for sale. Its a 2006 (facelift) 3.0si Sport Manual, with loads of extras. Its got less than 40k miles too and is in great condition. Its also extremely cheap for this model, year, mileage - well within your budget at £6,795 ono. This is because it is/was a Cat D early in its life. This may put you off, I guess, but it allowed me to get into a much later and high specced version and was bought from a reputable dealer etc.

Anyway, thought you might be interested, after reading what you were after. Its here on Gumtree, if you are interested:

Generally more toys on the 3.0i and you should be able to get a corker for 8k. 2.5si is the facelift - most people prefer the look of this - although you might have some fun updating the look of the 3.0i (clear indicators, repeaters etc) if you are that way inclined. 3.0si won't be a lot more than the 2.5si so don't rule that out as it'll usually have Xenons, cruise control, electric seats etc which aren't as common on the 2.5si (again, you can fit them afterwards if you want - lots of guides on the forum for this kind of stuff).

Maybe he found one already and is enjoying it SO much, he hasn't had time for computer nonsense! :wink:

Must be the cheapest 3.0si Sport (2006 with only 40k miles) out there. I'm gutted to be trying to sell it, but you can't fit too many bales of hay in it sadly - moving to Scotland and taking over a Croft (http://www.offgrid-online.co.uk)
