Good evening everyone !

I dicided to register myself on this forum since I on work a Z4. The only problem is : there's no z4 community in french on the web... Oh, yeah, I'm french. I'll do my best to write in a understandable english :)

About me : I'm 22, I'm student in osteopathy, I live in the North of France and I own a 2000 320d E46. I do the most of the maintains and repairs myself.

About the car : The Z4 I work on is my lucky mom's one. It's a 2004 2l5 E85.
It's a real pleasure to drive this car ;)

Actualy, we (my father and me) "waterproofed" a front head light (which had water into), thanks to mister_roger for the bumper removal (I built a DIY illustred theat on front bumper and the headlight, I'll post it if you're interested and as soon as I translate it!)
Dad touched somthing on the steering wheel and now we have an unsolved airbag light on the board with no fault according to a local garage...
To finish, I'm about to change the heater fan. I did it on my E46 last winter and to be fair, I was hoping to find some DIY here wich can help me to find the screws, the location of the heater fan etc... But i didn't find... So... It could be my next "How To" topic !

I hope you will enjoy my contributions,
Sincerely,
Siewicz

And sorry again for my approximate english :)

Welcome

Your English is better than some of the native speakers on here :P

Thanks for your messages !

I just finished to replace the blower motor resistance (aka FSU, aka FSR, aka Heater fan etc...). I took some pics ; the "how to" will come soon !
(actualy, it was pretty easy... the difficulties were to find the device and find the way to remove the glovebox... tricky screws in there !!)

See you !

Salut
J'ai vécu en France pendant huit ans, près de Tours. Elle me manque beaucoup. J'ai envie d'y retourner avec ma Zed. Je serais ravi de voir des photos de votre voiture dans la campagne française. Excuses pour mon mauvais français et bienvenue
