Hi all im new to this forum , im looking to buy a z 4 coupe , i have just been to see one in a bmw showroom but its a 2006 Z4 COUPE M spec I really liked it but can you tell me is the car the same body as a none M spec it i know the engine is differet and also the froint spoiler and the twin exhausts but is the rest of the body the same , the bonnet on this M coupe had a nice big bulge is it the sdame on the coupe non M spec This is the car by the way

you saying the bonnet is different on a 2006 z4 M coupe to a 2006z4 coupe non M ?
 
Mechanically there is the obvious engine difference. Less obvious is the different steering system, the M doesn't use the electric version that the standard Z4 has, so you get more feel for the road in the M. The ride is a little different too, no run flats on the M.

Drive both, see what you prefer, then work out if the extra costs of running the M are worth it to you. Road tax is double, servicing is much more for the major Inspections, fuel is obviously a little worse in the M, insurance is a guessing game...
 
oh yes i know the engine is different i have had an e46 M3 i just wanted to know whether the body was exactly the same as in size width wheel arch sizes i know the front bumper and quad exhausts are different
 
no i dont want an M Too much to run i want a z4 coupe i only went to see the M today because it was in garage near where i live so just wanted to look at the car in real life as there are no coupes for sale near me just wanted to look at it and sit in it so know what a coupe will be like when one comes up for sale
 
now i know what one looks like in real life i will travel to buy a 3,0 Coupe assuming the body is the same i have not seen one in real life untill today as it was local garage i like the look so i will travel to buy a 3.0 Coupe im looking for manual montego blue black leather 108 alloys if someone has one for sale or know where there is one . . thanks guys
 
body ways there is little difference between the M and the 3.0ltr, those who know will spot the difference easily, to the lay man they are the same to look at

different bumper, bonnet and quad exhaust on the M
