Is it a bad thing?
The car looks great drives amazing , paint has a few wee issues but i know a few good painters so not bothered about that

Not at all , its obviously been owned by someone else since but i would always prefer a forum owned car simply because you can trace its time on here & that the majority are supremely well cared for

Welcome, There can't be many red Coupes out there.
I don't think I've seen one in the flesh, only Goons and his is a lot darker than that.

Welcome to the forum OP - you are one lucky person!

Based on details provided some time ago on here there were only 38 Bright Red Coupes built to UK spec (6 SEs and 32 Sport)!

I would have loved one of those, although I do love my Montego Blue Coupe!

So much better than the silver/grey/black/a different black options.

BTW what is it with red cars in Scotland - my Imola Red 325ti Compact was supplied by the dealer in Dundee. I found a 325i Touring for my nephew this year in Imola Red, and it came from the same dealership in Dundee!

Anyway I hope you have some time to go and enjoy your new purchase.

Thanks for the comments guys, I couldn't believe it myself when I seen this 1 for sale, the coupe really suits red so I'm chuffed.
1of 38 :D haha more exclusive than a Ferrari !

Yip my old car  sold it to someone from work a couple of years ago. They traded it in last month. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did

Lovely lookin car you've got there  plus the bonus of knowing it's history as an ex-forum car. I'd love to be able to say the same about my Z, I sometimes wonder if it was due to the common mods like the stubby, aux input in ashtray area and exhaust covers that it had when I picked it up.
