I took the car in for an MOT and it failed on the broken spring!! i didnt know!! now all fix and car feels a lot smoother!! pob in my head though!!lol

sean - I could hear the lose bit on mine over bumps - sounded like a loose spanner in the boot. had no other symptoms though :?

Where in Essex? I'm originally from Goodmayes (ok, so it's not 'proper' Essex), don't know of any specialists round there, although I heard there were a couple in Romford. Not sure though, new to BMWs and Z4s as well.
