Hi guys,

I'm thinking of getting a z4 coupe. got a few niggling questions that may stop me from getting one.

The main issue I have is that I drive about 90miles everyday commuting from work and back, mostly motorway driving. The official figure says that I should get 31mpg. Is this figure anywhere close to the real figure?

Thanks for your helps guys

Hi and welcome to the forum :D

Mines an older pre-facelift and am getting ~33mpg on a motorway run (computer indicates ~35mpg). I would say the newer engines are better, but have no experience!

I do London to Newcastle fairly regularly.. as gannet said the trip computer says I'm getting 35mpg.
For me the driving experience and looks far outweigh the sensible economic small saloon etc etc..

I think depreciation would be my consideration if I was putting on 500+ miles a week. I would aim for a low miler and turn it round quick (6 months).

I'm doing the Liverpool-London-Barnard Castle-Liverpool route most weeks with about 50 miles of town driving and am returning 26mpg (according to the OBC which is accurate according to my fill-up diary) in my Z4MC. I'm not cruising at 70mph all the way though

With my 2004 3.0 se Auto my onboard computor reads 26mpg town and motorway enjoying the car and at a steady 85 33mpg motorway

Z4 3.0Si coupe--32 mpg easy (US gallons) highway speeds, A/C on and radio blasting. :) :driving:
