Hi from the North East England- E85 Yaw Sensor Issue

Hi, new E85 owner.
I purchased a 2006 2.5 a few weeks ago which has developed a yaw sensor issue, not due to water ingress as floor is bone dry. Its the facelift model so a new part is £566 from dealer. I'm a bit apprehensive in buying a used one as no guarantee how long it will last and even used sensors are very hard to get hold of and they still want north of £200 for them. i have been trying to find out if there is any one out there who refurbishes these parts or sells refurbished units but so far I've not found anyone. Does anyone know of anyone who may be able to help ? getting a bit desperate now so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks johnZ4.jpg

Welcome aboard.
I have never found anyone to refurbish these I'm afraid.
I don't have any spares but try [ref]umfaan[/ref], [ref]street[/ref], [ref]bigwinn[/ref], [ref]GenZed[/ref].
They are not cheap, but you may find you get a better deal through the forum and 'possibly' some kind of refund if it can be proved to be a duff one. (NB. That is between you and the seller. I am not stating it as a fact.)

Morning all,

I do have one for sale, and this was working perfectly when removed from an un-damaged vehicle. It's available for £165 plus postage.
If you would like some sort of confidence, I'm happy to sign the back of the sensor and if it doesn't work you can send it back for a full refund (minus postage). I used this Yaw Sensor on my track car, so know for a fact it's good!
Return for refund condition is 1 week + delivery time. Can't say fairer than that! :-)

[ref]jaydee041970[/ref], at that price, given the current rarity of these, and with [ref]Scooby216[/ref]'s great promise on it, I don't think you'll find better.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Hopefully you've found a solution to your problem.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Would really if possible have preferred a refurbished one. My worry is yes im sure it works now but May last 2 weeks or 2 years who knows. I’ll have a think. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for the reply, are they both interchangeable without error codes ? so i can use an 03 instead of an 02 ?
I have used either with no issues.
I believe if the part number stays the same then the last digits simply refer to different batches, slight upgrades, or possibly different manufacturers.
