Picked up a 2005 Z4 a couple weeks ago and have been loving it so far. Took it for a very enjoyable top-down drive up to Idyllwild this past weekend and the weather was fantastic.
I stumbled on the forum while searching for hints on how to install a head unit with Android Auto / Apple CarPlay in a Z4 with the DSP amplifier. I came across a fantastic thread that outlines all equipment needed and step-by-step instructions for wiring and installation - amazing! I've got everything wired up and ready to go as soon as I can get the back-up camera installed. I would have spent a bunch extra to install a new amp and rewire the speakers if I hadn't found that, so the forum is definitely paying dividends!
