Hi
Time to say hello, joined the forum about awek ago after lurking arround for a bit.
Sold one of my Land rovers last November and went lookin for a z4 to replace it , Not much difference then .

After looking around, just before christmas I found an early 2003 3.0 in black with a few problems.

The main problem was it handled like xxxx , this along with some problems with the electrics, did about 40 miles in it and stuffed it in the garage.

Being friends with the local garage we got it on their new 4 wheel alignment unit to find things way out. So A new set of bushes rear arms and a full alignment its superb . Well apart from some tramlining with the run flats. Today was its first time out and I manage a quick run around of jut under 100 miles.
The only problem it has now is a slight rising and falling of the revs when I stop then it settles down.

Any way bought as a project car ill have alook at this when i get the time.
Cheers

Greig

Hi Greig , welcome .
It's sounds your Z like mine is a hobby car rather than a daily driver.
It's all part of enjoying the car for me, tinkering with the car and getting it as good as it can be.
Enjoy doing it up and get Non run flats when the budget allows. :driving:

Hi and welcome. Hope it's all sorted out soon.

In the meantime we'd appreciate some pics!

Enjoy :driving:

Welcome to the forum Greig

What part of Scotland are you based? Don't forget to post some photos of your zed

Welcome Greig.
Great thing about the Z is there is plenty of info here on the forum and most of the fixes and issues are already available. Majority of time parts can be sourced cheaply under E46

Hi
Thanks for the welcome, there does seam to be a few z4 around the central Scotland area

I'll try to get some photos up later in the week. Currently using photobucket with an ipad and it wont let me copy the url.
Can any one confirm the maximum image sizes please
Thanks
Greig
