First apology No Piccies Yet.

Just to say hi from Newbie based in North East Derbyshire.

Bought my first car in nearly 30 years, my daily drive for all that time is a company car I do between 35/40k.

Sold my motorbike and all the equipment (bored with bikes and getting old) and now have (2weeks) 06/2004 Z4 2.2SE E85

Standard car apart from 103twin spokes, Msport heated leather and wind deflectors.

Metallic Grey.

This will now replace my Bike as my summer weekend toy so will now live a pampered life.

Been lurking for about a month (thought I'd better join) have picked up some good info for eg I had no idea my car was an E85

When first started looking I wondered what you were on about.

Will keep the car fairly standard but hopefully to a high standard.

Reading about tyres I've ordered 4x Vreds Sessantas and bought a wheel choc and E46 Jack off eBay again thanks for the info.

For a first post I think this is dragging on so Cheers for now :driving:

Look forward to seeing those pics when ready and watching you slowly slip into Zed addiction. Some nice roads your way to enjoy that new purchase. Remember to also post any pics of your old bikes too. Few of us on here loving two wheels also :thumbsup:

Had a 210 mile round trip yesterday morning to Atomic wheels in Milton Keynes.

Did a like for like swap on fully refurbished 103 double spoke 17"x8j rims
New centre caps
New wheel bolts and locking nuts
Had my new Vredestein Sessantas fitted
Hunter 4 wheel alignment

I must say I thought they were spot on :thumbsup:

1question if I may
I have the factory fitted wind deflector that's all in good order, can you buy the black netting on its own to refurb it ?

Answered my own question
Found a guy on eBay selling the net (mesh) bought a piece 90x25 for £11.60 so will be able to do a refurb on the wind deflector :thumbsup:
