As for moving from Jap to German, it's because the MR2 was a toy with my Peugeot as my main drive. I have now persuaded husband to sell his car, am letting him use the Peugeot and have bought myself an all year round roadster !
I also resisted German for so long, as I am German and felt it would be a bit stereotypical to drive a BWM or Merc.
Itguy - are you an 'it' type guy or a guy who works in IT ? Mine will be daily drive too, but I tend to commute between centre of Leicester and South East Leicestershire, so it depends on how far from Melton you stray.
As for modding the car - not for me I am afraid, I always like to leave things just as they are. I am a bit of a purist, the turbine alloys were just purely accidental as it was the black with red colour way that attracted me to this car. Plus the fact that my friend the RAC man who checked all the cars I was looking at, smiled when he checked this one - something he had never done before !

Well I commute to Grove Park near Sainsburys at Enderby every day but regularly go out round the ring road over to the east side of town too.
