Hi guys, just purchased a 05 2.0 roadster in the UK to bring down to Spain. Got it off a guy on Facebook for a steal (hope not literally). At 1800 I couldn't refuse could I? Well I hope I have done the right thing.

Declared and observed issues:
Oil leak top front of engine - cam cover and oil filter gasket.
Faulty driver's window. Needs regulator

Had a Mech' lift it and discovered some other stuff:
Both front flex brake hoses bad
Two solid brake pipes rear need replaced
Brake sensor needed
Key needs battery
Brake fluid replacement (because of the above)
Coolant has evidence of radweld and needs replacement (this one worries me a bit).

Would like to know more history on the car as the seller was a bit sketchy. Do you guys share Reg's for this purpose or is it considered bad form?

Looking forward to being a member of this community as a former Z3 owner.

That's a brave way to buy, but as you say for the money it has to be worth a punt!

That didn't work out last time - shame they only let those in Scotia vote. I'm sure the English would be happy to stop the subsidies. :rofl:

Are you sure? England would be bankrupt without the subsidies! :rofl:
 
Try recharging and then resyncing the key you can use a tooth brush charger just place the key on it
