Hi all, new to the forum, had my Z4 2003 2.5i for a year.

ACS 19" rims.
Alpina front & rear spoilers.

I bought it that way, I've bought standard two part BMW 18" rims but haven't put them on yet as I need to get tyres and get them refurbd.

Drivers door just stopped opening and car due MOT in a couple of weeks.

Door not opening any ideas?

Sounds like door actuator have failed ! Common problem on e46 Bmw's can you open the door with key ?

Doesn't open from inside or out with key handle or remote :-(

Having to open passenger door and "shimy" over.

:-(

I believe others have used "B for BMW" - I think they're in Clydebank. Haven't used them myself but recall hearing positive things about them.
 
Ditto on B for BMW.

Im a fair trek from there but will be using them for my next service based on the positive things I've heard. 50% off main dealer labour rates. Not too shabby

Lol, thanks, I have no pictures of the Car, it's actually sitting in a sorry state, parked in the driveway hasn't moved in two months, flat tyre, door won't open, water in the headlamp :-( blush! I'll get it tidied up, MOTed and then post a pic, although got an old pic from when I bought it 12 months ago...

Alpina front spoiler, pretty certain it's ontop of the standard BMW bumper.

Also an Alpina rear spoiler, those and the ACS wheels all on the car before I bought it, personally I'd never have mixed Tuning / Styling add ons. Hence why I've bought the 5 spoke BMW 18" rims to replace these ACS 19"s when I need tyres.

Recommendations for wheel refurbishment near Glasgow anybody?

Liking this forum so far and the genuine enthusiasm for the zed.
