Hi guys, been meaning to to say hello for a while, but each time thought ah I do it tomorrow when I have more time !

So - Hi everyone :)

So long story short :- Last year Febuary , I bought a Z4 E89 23i, 2009 with high milage. Spent about 5mins walking round and kicking the tyres, we then went for a drive , round the block, less than a minute. Bought it !

Welcome, very nice, Havana brown and beige leather?
You must have been smitten straight away.
You just need to remove the aqua fresh “m” stripes and you’re all set.
You could probably sell the plate to a merc owner for a few quid too, unless that’s your initials.

Welcome to the forum 🙂

You did better than me, I didn't drive it until I had bought it!

RMB is right about the plate, I suspect it is personal to you, but it will be worth a chunk to a Merc driver.

Oh, and what do you call high mileage? As you now know, these engines are superb and will easily do big miles with proper servicing.

Hi and welcome to the forum from a former Ewell resident who went to school in Epsom.

Your Z4 looks great in that unusual colour combination.

Thanks guys, for your kind comments :)

Yes the number plate is a personal plate , I bought 2 (F25AMG and F26AMG ) from DVLA , One for the Z4 and the other for my Fiat 500. The colour is Havana metallic, apparently it is 'A sophisticated dark brown/grey metallic colour' ., log book says 'Brown' !

The interior is all Nappa leather Ivory white and Alcantara , I believe this was an option called pure design ? The car also came with the M Package option - which includes the DCT (twin clutch) auto box with launch control, Larger wheels and tyres , 18" 293 multi spoke alloy wheels, Electronic adaptive suspension, adaptive steering, Brake Energy Regeneration, Sports seats , multi function steering wheel. ...

I bought the car last year Feb 2025 with 125,628 miles on the clock.
