I am New to the Z4 forum, :D :D I am Retired ill health for some 24 years < I am 59, a Mad Pc gamer as well :rofl: :rofl:

But have been involved with Another club forum, RX-8 owners club, and many years of fun!! and Great Advise with the members, I owned A JAP import 210bhp Auto with flappy paddle , the only one in the club, with 16" wheels lol, and many butt of jokes with in the club,
but it was all in good, jest, (I Think) :rofl: I loved the club sceen and made many friends,, But alas the 8 had to go, :( :headbang: twas a very sad day we did shed a tear or two :cry: me and the Mrs and the Kids,

Any way a few years along My Mrs wants to feel the wind in her Hair :oops: :oops: so an Open top Sports car it is, , have been reading up on details of many cars and decided A Z4 3.0L is the one to go for, But can only afford up to £5k at a Push,
I am minded of some of the issues of the older car with I guess 80+K, on the clock, not so the engine so long as it has been looked after, but the Hood Motor, shocks, springs and the is it the DISA valve, are things to take into account, if you have any advise for me or know anyone that lives near me would love to talk them, with regards the Car and any advise they may have for me, sorry I have gone on a bit that what you get with this OLD Cockney :) :)
Hope to join in with some Club antics etc , Ps the Mrs makes great cakes, cheers Members talk soon

:thumbsup: Welcome to the real engine cars world. Had an RX8 but could not afford to run it. Only kidding just got fed up of redlining it constantly.

I don't know much about RX8`s apart from the fact, whatever you buy will have better fuel economy :)
 
Tbh I had fun in mine came in as a px and I run it for 6 months before I had my first Z. Sold it at a profit, and it's still going strong. Although now it's all "Tokyo Drift" style.But still going.Winning blue with reg C9RXB

I Agree with that :thumbsup: 19 to 22 MPG if you were lucky lol, mind you that was whether you pushed it or try to drive eco style hehe,

Thanks for the WELCOME!! Just missed out on two Z4's lool, BUT I am sure i will get one soon, to be honest in No real rush but you know what its like when your eager :D :D
 
Hi and welcome. Most problems with the z4 are relatively easy to sort especially roof motors several members can move it for you at a very reasonable price, disa fix is simply kits available for around £50 and simple job to do

I know this one is a bit further away from you, but if you are considering a 2.5 why not have a facelift? :)

ha what a twit I am I thought the car I posted to you was Medway Kent, but its too far away, by the way that face lift you linked me is that still for sale??
 
It looks like it, the only person interested still has a Passat for sale!
