Hi from an Audi TT owner

Hi all, I've just registered because I'm interested in the new BMW Z4. I currently own a MK2 Audi TT (57 plate).

I'm guessing that as and when I decide to trade in the TT, the decision to go for a TTS or a Z4 will be a difficult one!

Anyhow, that's it for now.

I had a TTS for a week on loan from Audi. Nice car and good performance but I'd have been bored within a month. It was a bit of a characterless thing. No emotion, the engine was just a blown 4 pot.

You could get a nearly new S-Drive 35i for the same money as a new TTS. Three litre flat 6 vs 2 litre 4 cylinder....no contest !

But then again I'm biased...I don't like Audi. Everything from the incredibly bland designs (R8 excluded), the fact that they are just expensive Seat/Skoda/VW's and most importantly those bloomin horrendous running lights. Horrid. :fuelfire:
 
The only other car I test drove was a TT, awesome grip from the quattro but felt that you really had to be on the limit for it to become exciting, compare that to the Z4 where speed seems unimportant, it just feels special all the time.
 
don't know anything about the TT, but having a Z4 you will be in great company on here :)

I'll be having a drive of a Z4 nearer the time I want to trade up. In the meantime though it's good to know that there's folks on here I can ask for opinions.
