Hi from a (soon to be) new owner

Hi all,
I've been a lurker for a bit but I've decided to take the plunge andn post. I've been thinking about this for a while and have decided my next car is going to be a Z4MC. I've looked at a few but nothing yet. Eastern BMW near Edinburgh have a nice one but they want 25k for it and that's a bit too expensive, given the time of year etc, so I'm still looking. I'm based in West Lothian, Scotland but willing to travel nationwide to get the right car. If anybody's got any suggestions let me know. The one option that's a must is sat nav, I'm not bothered about the cup holders. I would like the powered folding mirrors but I'd assume that they're a simple after fit. I would prefer a BMW AUC, but that's not witten in stone. I'm also in no hurry and I'm set to wait for the right car, unless I get a surprise from Santa tonight! Well, that's all for now, here's looking forward to joining the club properly.

Thanks for the replies, that was quick! It's a Jan 2008 car, not many extras, but it does have sat nav. AlanJ, thanks for the checklist, I had already found that and am using it :thumbsup:

Hello Oortam and every one, I brought myself a Z4MC 2 weeks ago its black with red interior and a standerd car, although since i got it its been in garage snowed in, I did get to drive it 70 miles home and i think where going to get on fine, (Oortam I think you will be pleased)I have had a couple of m3;s and a csl in the past and they where all great cars so my hopes are high for my new beast, Will post some pics when i can get it out of garage and get a drive, I have how ever already done the clutch valve mode and fitted some 12mm spacers to rears and i am going to do the clutch stop mode as well next time i can get it to work, Cheers Tim
