Hi All,

New to Z4 land so go easy if i ask stupid questions please!!

The car i have bought is a 04 3.0 liter SE in Stirling grey with Red leather, so far so good!

The car has done 40k and seems to pull very slightly to the right and there is a wee clunk or r/h lock, any suggestions? are there any known weak points in this area?

Also what do the red spots on the tires mean? run flats?

Hi and welcome, Red spots?? only ever seen them on new tyres, It normally comes off after a couple or 3 washes, As for other issues,
Pulling to the right, Get an alignment check done on it, check tyre pressures and usual stuff, Would be worthwhile checking out your Wishbome rear bushes and track rod end bushes, My car same age as yours and 47K, My bushes were Shot!! Fitted polymer bushes, cured a few issuues for me.
Clunking noise, Dunno!! Get the wheel off have a look for anything obvious, Would be worth mentioning to garage if you get the alignment done and ask them to check it out.

as for the tires, the description on the side of the tires should tell you if they are RFT or not.

I'm a Newbie too - hello everyone . I have exactly the same colour scheme on my car!! And it's the same age too. How spooky is that?!!
