Hi-Fi professional EQ settings

Here is what I like now after measuring more:

Code:
"bass" (base, not in the EQ) at -10
80Hz -9
200Hz +10
500Hz 0
1000Hz 0
2000Hz +6
5000Hz +6
10000Hz +6

9,200+10,500-0,1000-0,2000=6,5000=6,10000=6-middle.png

9,200+10,500-0,1000-0,2000=6,5000=6,10000=6-middle.png

Just wanted to update this thread that this setting works so well for me that I stopped messing with it. I use the regular bass control (in bass/treble, not the EQ) to compensate a bit depending on external conditions.

Related to this, does anyone know exactly what the "surround" option does? It seems to sometimes make music sound better, sometimes worse.

It's like an unattended remaster. I always have it off, although some music in some original mastering can improve in the car.

Turning it off might de-activate some speakers.
