Hi everyone, after months of lurking I have finally picked up a new-to-me BMW Z4MR. My daily is a Mk7 Golf R, and had been looking for a long time for something a bit different for the weekend - looked at everything from Noble M12's to V8 Vantages, and eventually came back around to the Z.

Thanks for the all the wonderful posts and tutorials, I think I knew everything about the car before I had even seen my first one! So far my only purchases to date are a stubby aerial and a Kisstory CD to fit in the 6 CD multichanger :D The car is clean as I could find, although to put my mind at ease I just put it through a complete Inspection 2 service which I think having done 60k it was due. Luckily for me it came back clean as a whistle :driving:

Hello, welcome and congratulations, though if you've been lurking then you know what's coming next

:worthless:

Nice rides you got there ,welcome to the forum :thumbsup:
Good to know you got a clean bill of health on the Zed :driving:

Thought that might be the first request, I should know better!!

And one with the daily;

It was originally going to be a car for a client of mine, however he pulled out last minute and so I have decided to keep it for now!

I can see the pieces, and very nice they are too.

Can't go wrong with a black Z4MR! 8)

Enjoy :driving:

Awesome looking car. The more of these roadsters I see, the less I think they are hairdresser cars....

:o :D

Thanks for the kind welcome guys! Next on the list of to-do's is fitting an Aux In (although this is more for the passengers, as far as I'm concerned the radio is never on with just me in the car!). I'm also planning on refurbing the alloys - you cannot tell from the pictures but they have some slight scuffs, I'm thinking of a slightly darker tone on them - but not quite yet.
