Hi Everyone!

@Carol I've never been a fan of convertibles be it hard top or rag top. Plus in my quest for pure audio bliss, it's a little hard to get great sound in a convertible!

:D

@inkey$ thank you! Yeah it's a shame really as this car puts a massive smile on my face every time I drive it. No doubt the zed will do the same! :driving:

Ignore Carol. Def buy a coupe. Sexier, rarer, cooler ;)

Never 'ignore' Carol.
Like how often can you get a response from a hot blonde ?
A Coupe ?
Never sexier ...Topless is the way to go.
Rarer ? ..There is a reason that Coupes are so unpopular.
Cooler ? ...Huh ? ...Wind in what's left of your hair, all the sounds and scents of where ever you happen to be ..the sun warming your various body parts ...

Roadster is WWJD ..(What would J Drive)

Nuff Said ..
Now get out there and locate your Roadster ..
It's your Destiny !!!

Thanks Swiftley!

@Woody, the v6 biturbo was an incredibly limited run (only a handful made) and the regular Brabus roadsters are great but 18 months ago the insurance companies had an absolute field day with my premiums. The fortwo brabus had more power, higher price tag yet cheaper on insurance. No idea why so I went for the fortwo (minus the intention of selling up after 18 months :censored: )

Noo!

The coupe is my destiny!

Far more unique! (There are a few z4 roadsters in the area but no z3 coupes that I've seen)

Check the recent threads too Neil as that Hexagon MC was recently discussed.

PS - Bumpy's wrong too. And bitter he made the wrong choice ;)

Has anyone ever sat in a roadster coupe? My god what a cockpit it really is. My mechanic / friend has one and they are tight as anything!

I can see why your looking for a coupe, similar look to you present car......
Face/palm...

A coupe is a good choice! A lot more special and rare... Not like these common roadsters knocking about :)

Welcome!

So Neil is that V6 bi-turbo not available to buy for Jo Public?? What's the fastest Brabus that can be bought?

@inkey$ saw the thread and said my piece. Seems they have plenty of business from elsewhere and don't need my custom.

Well I base that comment on the actions of other dealers. Sytner Nottingham for instance after negotiations failed on figures said they would find another car for me and the next day (today) I had a phone call to say they were looking into it further for me! Highly impressed there.

bluestreak56 if you're talking about the smart roadster coupe then they're cracking little cars. Can get great power out of those engines too!

@twist944 I do prefer the lines on the coupe...plus never been a fan of rag tops!

@woody there were only 10 built. None sold to the public afaik.

In terms of raw power the fastest brabus available is the Brabus Ultimate 120.

As the name suggests it has 120ps. Same engine and internals as mine, just a more agressive map. (many owners map their brabus smarts and seen in excess of 120hp)

however at €45,900 it is quite a joke even if the seats are drool worthy!

Darn ...Y'all saw through my flimsey ruse....

To each his / her own ...
But never "NEVER" ignore Carol

You should all listen to Bumpy, that man knows what he's talking about.
And he has taste.

Ignore the people telling you to ignore me. (Inkey$ in particular, he's just bitter about the Ban The Person Above You Thread)

Coupes are rarer for a reason. :poke:
There is nothing in this world like driving your car with the roof down but each to his own and I hope you find your ideal p&j.

Oh and never ignore Carol.

These two points are actually true.

Carol M, The coupe is a rarer breed as not everyone can handle its amazingly good looks. :P

In all fairness it has been 2 z4 roadsters that had me give the car itself a serious looking into. Saw that the coupe was also in budget so it was smiles all round.

I agree that the green zed from Japan is not to everyone's taste, I personally don't like it, but it does show what these cars are capable of.

The second zed, well it just proves how classy air + wheels on the right car looks.

:D

Shame the guy who owns the green one isn't a member on here, would be some interesting convo going on! Makes Marius' car look like it's on stilts!

Woody, it is. though from what I've seen of other members, no driveshaft issues that I've found yet lowering the car.

Good luck with the search, Neil. Sytners Notts are a good bunch, bought my zed from there, excellent service ever since, I can't fault them!! :D

Tapatalking...

Thanks markeg!

Had a call from them, didn't really feel welcomed.

Went to my local Sytner (High Wycombe), saw a friendly face that sold us a BMW 335i 3 years ago and bought the same car from there.

You won't be the first to come from a Smart to a Zed.
Was driving a FourTwo Pulse before making the switch 2.5 years ago.
