Hi folks thought I would join this forum for a little help or info,
Just purchased a G29 z4 recently & have had issues with the steering, bought it from dealer so covered by warranty, but called for an update on car & they are scratching there heads on diagnosis.
Front end was all over the place when speeds at 55+ steering was also stiff.
The car has new manufacturer alloy plus new pilots all round.
They fitted new battery + did 4 wheel alignment hoping this would solve issues but they say it’s the same & will have to do more digging.
Car has just been mot’d from dealership where I bought it , I’ve only did 200 odd miles since buying it.
Just wondering if anyone has had any similar issues.

My last zed had an intermittent steering issue where there was quite a bit of play on the wheel, you could turn it one way or another by 5 to 10 degrees and nothing would happen, it was a little annoying ut the dealer couldn't find a fault, because of the intermittency. Another member, Ori, had the same issue, the dealer replaced the steering rack but that did not solve it.
