Hi everyone,
First a quick bit about me and my cars, I'm 23 and a big car fan, especially BMWs and MINIs. My car history started 5 years ago with a 2001 MINI One that I've gradually added to and managed to win Modern MINI Magazine's Best MINI One 2009 in their awards. Last May I bought an immaculate 2006 MINI Cooper S John Cooper Works with only 5,000 miles that had been very well looked after. I kept the One as an everyday car to save the Works as a fair weather fun car to keep it mint and keep the mileage down. I've still got these but plan to sell the Works soon.
In February this year I bought a 2003 BMW 320d on a temporary basis as I got an excellent deal on it and planned to replace it after a couple of months with a 330Ci Convertible. I've always liked Z4s, they're one of my dream cars, I started looking at them again as well and decided that was what to go for. It had to be a 3.0i manual with lowish mileage.
Last week I bought my 2003 3.0i SE Roadster and absolutely love it! It's in Sterling Grey with the rare grey roof and black leather.
The optional extras include:
- Sterling Grey metallic
- Grey hood
- Heated seats
- Xenon headlights
- 6 CD Changer
- PDC
- Wind deflector
I think that's it but not sure.
I've already bought a hardtop for it and transfered a stubby from my MINI that's a perfect fit. I'll soon have my private plate transferred on and fit some 18" Ellipsoids.
The car was in Northern Ireland which meant it was quite a trip to collect it and gave me a great start to Zed ownership as I spent my 1st day with the car driving around the Northern Ireland Causeway Coastal Route which has some great roads and fantastic scenery, and the sun was out! 8) It was an amazing experience I'll always remember and I'll definitely be returning. I've managed to rack up 800 miles in the first 4 days.
I'm very involved with MINI clubs and forums, and go to lots of shows and runs etc, so thought I'd look to see if there was a Z4 forum and came across this great site. I look forward to using the forum and meeting some of you at events soon
Here's a few pics of my car from when I was in Ireland:

Thanks,
Matty
