New member from the south east. Have had a nightmare 10months with an e60 535 so decided it was time to go and get something more 'sensible' that wouldn't demand huge amounts of money being spent on it monthly and something I could actually enjoy, especially with the roof down.
Went and looked at a couple that were somewhat local but not all that impressive but have settled on a 2004 2.5i in silver with a few options such as 18" wheels and electric heated memory seats, plus genuine BMW wind deflector and hardtop thrown into the deal. I would have liked nav but it wasn't essential and I never used the cruise control in the e60 anyway so that wasn't essential either. The only thing I'm planning on adding is an aux cable and leaving it as standard.
Got a good deal on my e60 and on the z4. It goes in for its MOT on Monday and I should be able to pick it up on Tuesday. Will have the same dent removal company I used for my e60 come around and take the dents out of this one as it's picked up a few parking dents along the way but it's a great looking car.
Will post some pictures when I pick it up, hopefully it won't be raining so I can have the roof down. It's the first convertible I've owned and it's a weird feeling having no roof.
Thanks and look forward to seeing some of you on the road.
Kieran
