Hi All,

Hi all, finally after 8 months of looking, started looking at the Z4c sport and in the end I convinced myself a Z4m coupe was a must, so on January 3rd I got myself a silver grey, red leather, stock MC, 62k on the clock, bodywork and interior is mint, I got Miller Oil to analyse the oil, the results came back very positive, which has put my mind at rest. Me and a couple of mate are going to Roadstr (I know hot hatch meet ) at Cotswold Airport on Saturday morning, if you see a grey z4mc say hello 😎

Hi and a very warm welcome from a fellow Coupe owner.

I had a couple of 3.0Sis for over 5 years, then exactly a month ago I picked up my Silver Grey M Coupe with Imola Red leather on 76K miles but it's not exactly stock. It's got H & R coil-overs, a strut-brace, CSL replicas, spacers and possibly other tweaks I haven't discovered yet!

Why shouldn't it go to a hot hatch meet? It's a hatch, and even by current standards it's still pretty hot!

I hope you are enjoying the M experience as much as I am. :driving:

Thanks for the welcome Mr Tidy, I did see your MC up for sale but you were quick off the mark, well done it looks a stunner. I’ve got a few plans to upgrade the suspension it’s not great on stock, yeah the Roadstr Hot Hatch meet will be good fun, only a fiver to get in and I joined on the RoadStr app, it looks good.

I had to be quick, the seller (or possibly his OH  ) wanted it gone before Christmas - so it was!

You mention suspension, so before you get too involved it might be helpful to let you know that as well as the H & R coil-overs my car had fitted it came with a set of H & R lowering springs (1 inch lower all round) and a full set of Eibach Pro springs that are 20mm lower at the front and 10mm lower at the rear that may all be available if I can get the coil-overs set up in a way I like. I suspect the H & R lowering springs will be available whatever, but if my coil-overs are still a bit low I might use the Eibachs and get some Bilstein shocks to go with them.

Hopefully I'll know in a couple of days.

Welcome to the z4 forum, it's good to see you flying your Z4 flag so early on with fellow petrolheads 👍🏻 Enjoy the Z4 experience

now looking forward to upgrading the suspension.

Your car looks stunning, but obviously I'm biased.

Anyway it looks like I will be keeping the coil-overs on mine, so I've got a full set of Eibach lowering springs (20mm front, 10mm rear) that came off my car and look pretty clean.

And I've get the H & R lowering springs that the previous owner had on his previous MC (1" drop all round). I don't know how many miles they did, but going by his posts on here he had the car for 2 and a half years.

But all 8 shocks look like original BMW ones, so are more than 10 years old! I'll probably offer them for free - might be useful for someone wanting to go back to standard to sell.

I will be putting an advert on here for the springs, but if either set would be of any interest you could get in 1st.

Thanks for the offer Mr Tidy  My stock suspension is in good order as one of the previous owners have KW’s fitted and replaced it back to stock when he sold it, as I found out on a YouTube review, which was a weird experience viewing..... MrPT it’s a great combo especially when photographed, seeing other colour combos in the flesh is quite surprising, I was lucky to get a deal at blackbushe ( via We Buy Any Car ) for a song.

Aha, yes I know it. Was owned by veilside85 and mpm on here. Shame he removed the KWs, but it’s a cracking car, either way.

What a gorgeous looking car... a fabulous choice,... so welcome to the MC club
