Hopefully picking my car up this week, got a couple of stupid questions as i've never owned a convertible before

1. Petrol - It's the 2.0lt - do I need to use Super Unleaded, or can I use the normal stuff?

2. Washing it - Do I have to do anything special with the soft top? - can I just take it to the local handwash place for them to hose down?

Cheers

Jimmy

Welcome to the forum

I avoid the supermarket fuel and mainly use shell V power although it runs ok on shell unleaded.

You may get some stick on here if you take your Zed to the local hand wash :D :poke:

Hi , welcome and enjoy...

Prepare for the mods to start very soon, be sensible!!! Or maybe not!!!
Great forum, one of the best I've been part of...

Cheers

Just had a call from the garage, it's gone through its mot and service, apparently the rear springs had gone, but they've been replaced, glad I got them to put it through before I bought it.

Just waiting for my money before picking it up now.

Keep refreshing my bank account ;)

Welcome to the world of zed ownership. You won't look back. :driving:

Welcome

As Round said, if you do look back it will be a tiny speck in the rear view mirror

Finally picked it up :) despite the M1s best attempts to foil me :)

Loved the drive home, although wearing my big work boots probably wasn't the best idea.

Only problem is, now i'm paranoid and looking out the window at every bang and noise outside :)

Looking forward to giving it a proper run out at the weekend - better pics tomorrow when it's sunny.

Your 2.0 does not need special fuel - normal unleaded will be fine.

There is some talk on the forum that using 'special' fuels might bring about issues with warning lights - maybe do a search or see what other folk say. My 2.0i Sport ran really well on Tesco fuel - never a problem.
