Are there any members here that meet up in the Portsmouth/Hampshire area? I'm also a member of the RBLR branch if there are any bikers here too.
However, I've just got myself a very cheap Z4 that needs a shed load of TLC. My last BMW was a 528 automatic carbureted 1976 model which I owned 27 years ago and I vowed to own a BMW again one day as I doted on that car. So it would be much appreciated if anyone can recommend local garages, accessory shops etc to get this work done. Mainly Alloy wheel repairs and bodywork scuffs and chips for now. Thanks Peeps.
 
Welcome along Grizzly9! There's loads of info on the forum and the search option is brilliant. But all specific questions are normally answered pretty quickly. Looking forward to reading your progress with the tlc 8)

As imp75 - quick search on here will show you where to get the best deals, quality of service etc. As for accessory shops - Google search. Most go for OEM updates rather than some rather badly made/fitting stuff however always limited by cost. And before anyone else tells you - pics of your Zed please.... :thumbsup:

We have tried to get people together before in the South Hampshire area....another face will be good and hopefully get things going down here a bit more! :driving:
 
welcome along, i'm in Hamble, just down the M27, it would be good for all the Hants members to meet up sometime :thumbsup: not sure about garages etc in your area but i used an indy for my insp 2 just outside Southampton and they charged £295 so not too bad.

I'm just up in Horton Heath but was Bursledon before.

Was the indy you used Sean at Iridium engineering off Alington Lane?
 
Many thanks to all who have replied. Pics will be posted asp when I can sus out how to upload pics and resize if too big etc. Ooh Matron! Will even attempt to get my old Beemer photo scanned and uploaded.

Not an M roadster unfortunately, sterling grey roadster is mine. I used Bartley BMW in Totton. Didn't know about Iridium in Allington Lane.

I have a black Coupe - so if you see some idiot waving / flashing (his lights) that's probably me!
