Hi chaps,

After the wife got an other job I needed a second car so she can have the 320d touring, so I got myself a z4.

Cracking car, had it a week now and feel I got a good deal. 2.5i at se spec, 42k on the clock, new tyres and brakes and a new infamous hood motor I keep reading about. Immaculate inside and out, and full bmw service history. All for the sum of £6k. Love having my heated seats back and love love love the sport button!
I used to miss my old mk4 golf gti 1.8t......... Not so much anymore!

However I do like the fuel consumption on my 320d better! Lol.
Anyway thought I'd drop in and say hello. Seems a good forum with loads of advice. One thing I do like about it is there's very little stupid mods etc like there was on the old golf gti forums.

It's a light grey, bit lighter than my other bmw which is a dark grey! Makes me sound proper dull all grey! I'll get some pics when I've had it valeted on Monday. There's a tiny bit of green at the base of the hood, so bmw are doing a full valet to showroom finish on Monday. £120 but the do a mega job. It's quite clean throughout but they do make the cars look like new.

It was up for 6500, but the only bad point I could find was a bit of the lacquer on each alloy had oxidised so I got the garage down £500. And for that I got the parrot fitted and I'll get the wheels refurbed in the summer.

I always thought it a pity that bmw don't do the battleship grey that audi did on the original tt

anyway, titanium or stratus I guess.

They're actually pretty good, I've had full showroom valets from them before in Norwich and they're mega. Normally to be honest I'd give it a once over with the karcher!

P.s. You want to have a look at the dodge charger they have there, was very nice indeed! Although the wife WOULD kill me!
 
Spend a couple of months on here and she'll be wanting to kill you anyway - this place is full of fantastic ways to empty your wallet and people shouting 'Do It !' :lol:
 
Ha! I know,I'm a carp angler and plenty of my cash goes into that! I'm not a fan of Making a car bling or trevved up just functional clean!
She's a good girl lets me do pretty much whatever I want and cooks me dinner so I can't complain! :thumbsup:
 
Good move you getting £500 off for the alloys :wink: wouldn,t waste your time & money having them refurbed / bad reps & imo don,t do anything for the car :?
Look 100% better with a mint set of 108,s :oops:
 
Well I've bought my first mod. Never fitted anything to a car before, but the gaptech remote roof plus is what I've ordered so I'll have a crack at that in a few days when it comes through. And it looks like it'll be pretty cool!

Is there any way I can post photos from my ipad on here?
