Hey new guy!

Hi guys! New to this forum, I've had a look around, you seem like a nice bunch!
I've owned my coupe since March 2013 after coming from a mini r53. Still love the z4, it's had many changes over the years. The car is on KW Clubsports (with different springs), brakes are AP Racing, wheels are currently BBS RC 700/701 (staggered). It's just had a new wrap from Total Dynamic Enfield (my second wrap from them, great guys). I have some aero skirts to go on later in the week. The car does some track work also, I have a full day booked at Cadwell park in April! Here's some pics!

It's current exterior look

It's current interior (I'm an automotive trimmer)

It's also been light blue and matt grey before

Welcome from a fellow newbie! Gorgeous car. Love what you've done with the interior, the colour coded dash panel/centre console panel looks great!

Welcome to the forum -- at last ;) Great looking car, nice to have another coupe owner on board. The interior looks superb - I have custom red leather on my dash too

Better late than never  great lookin motor - very nice interior, even the seat belts have had the red treatment

Thanks guys. After spending shedloads on my old r53 I said I wouldn't join a forum....it didn't work!

The interior will be up for swaps soon, as I want to retrim it again

Nice motor! Interior swaps eh? I have a black interior with piano black dash. I could be interested in a swap if that's what you're after.

Welcome to the forum. Great looking Zed. Love the little details like the seat belts.

Hi guys, just an update.
I made track preperations by raising the car and fitting my track wheels (BBS RC 700 with staggered Super Sport tyres) and did Cadwell park on April 3rd, had a blast! The car was performing really well, it was great to really feel the difference in braking and suspension setups since the last time I was out. Here's a few pics and screen shotted professional snaps, I'm still to decide which ones I'd like to buy.

Then last week I went to Evolve for a check up a dyno run. The old girl made 262bhp, which for an engine on 94k was pretty good. We managed to extract a bit more power and some torque from it with a remap. The difference on the road is actually quite noticeable.

So feeling confident I booked an evening track session at Brands Hatch. It was wet for the first 20 minutes or so it it soon dried out. I was having a great time, really pushing the car and having a bit of a battle with a Golf mk7 R, and then boom!! White smoke in the rear view mirror!! :0 Obversely I thought the worst, blown bottom end, new engine required! Turns out it was only the expansion tank that had let go. So I got recovered from Kent back to north London, dropped the car with my mechanic and 24 hours later the car was collected! Happy days.

I actually had this picture framed. I love the guy pointing to the engine!
