Hi all,

Currently in the market for something more driver focussed, hence being here.. the shortlist!

Z4 3.0 roadster/coupe
MK3 mx5
350z

And the not so focused wildcard
MK2 TT of some sort

Captain indecisive at your service

3.0si Coupe in standard guise is an OK driving tool.. better than the 350z and TT.

However with a few tweaks the Coupe turns into something really good! You just have to be willing to chuck some money into the chassis department.

I see your list like so:
Z4 3.0 Roady = Good driving tool with a top down experience.
Z4 3.0si Coupe = Good driving tool but with a few tweaks turns into an awesome driving tool.
Mk3 MX5 = Too civilised of the MX5 range, still fun but slow!
350z = Too fat / heavy but is quicker than the Coupe in outright pace (straight line)

MK2 TT = Good point and shoot car, not so great in the twisty stuff, fairly quick / tunable in the outright pace deparment.

I would suggest driving all and making your own mind up.

However.. I will warn that the Coupe offers a driving experience like no other and once you're in one.. you won't know what else to go for..

CoupeDan, top marks for being objective, as I think the OP might get some biased opinions here,,

along the lines of,

Z4 -
MX5 - Crap
350Z - Crap
TT -
