what have I done? After 4 1/2 years ow owning the best car I've ever had I've finally traded it for something else.
I've loved my 520 touring, had no problems other than 3 tyres and covered 38K miles averaging approx 51mpg. No service costs and one minor accident (young lady drove into it in a car park).
Been trying to replace it for almost 18 months, its the oldest 'proper car' I've had for about 25 year but couldn't find anything to replace it. Due to retire soon and need to downsize the fleet so decided its make or break time. The 5 had to go soon and the Z will go in the summer.
so I've traded the 5 series for a Mini Countryman Cooper SD All4, ex demo, nice spec and in white which would be our preference. It'll largely be used by SWMBO and Ill use her 4 series convertible more and more.
