well here she is my new daily driver http://www.finerdetails.co.uk/photo-gallery/audi/tts_lh/

i saw it and just HAD to have it.... so now my quattro gets me around in the snow perfectly, its a prestine example with only 15k miles, owned by a TTOC club member and the car is perfect and i mean perfect, not a dint, not a scratch, its got all right little mods, completely blinged out engine bay, stage 2 remap, coilovers, anti roll bars, brakes, silicon hoses, uprated this .. that and pretty much everythink, its a beaut!! all the TT issues have been sorted previously, this car which is producing 260hp now up from its 240bhp is only costing 235quid a year to tax as well and is returning 35-40mph, i love it!!

next will be the baby carrier..... boring!!

I still prefer that shape of TT over the newer one - more distinctive

Best version too IMO. Lighter front end than the 3.2. Does this not only have 2 seats this version though? Or am I thinking of another version of the TT?

Sold mine yesterday, was sad to see it go. It was so much more planted in the snow than the M. It will make a fantastic winter car mate.

Good luck on the 30-40mpg though with stage 2 remap lol

yes this is the lightweight stripped out version but it still has that lovely dash...... it also comes with some lovely proper bucket seats, my car also benefits a shortshift kit, haldex controller, its really sorted. Yes my pride and joy Z4m is still with me just in winter hibernation now.......

hark ive had the remap removed ;-) 240ps is more than enough for daily driving but i still have the map and box to load on if i want, dont forget the Quattro S came with 237bhp instead of the usual 225, either way im feeling rather smug about my Very unexpected find.

Fantastic buy mate ;nearly bought a QS (red one) in the summer.

A lovely motor, and feels a bit special compared to the standard TT, mainly due to the 240bhp, the sports-suspension, and the bucket seats.

Enjoy it mate; as I`m sure you will ! 8)

Hi again

I didn't realise you had bought Syd's old motor. I've met him many times through the TT forum events.

When I looked at the pictures I did wonder, but thought it was a coincidence.

You've got a very looked after car there. He cleans his cars like noone else I know, a true perfectionist and a genuine bloke. Glad it's gone to a good home. I think if he had the space for 3 TTs he would have kept that one as well.

i have to say this car so far has been fab...... the interior does have a few rattles and squeaks which are annoying... ill investigate those later in the new year.... But the car in the snow is just awesome, ESP off the car is just a joy to drift around in complete saftey, its been unstoppable in this poor weather, so far my new Daily driver choice has been a wise one... Far far far more practiacal than my ///M and swallows £250 worth of food shopping with ease........ im loving driving this everyday. Great car, im missing driving my z4 though ;-)

looks like a great example- my mates old tt was great in the snow as were peoples faces seeing a 'sports car' drive past them

I had one of these for a month 12 months ago before buying the Z4M and it was the most underwhelming car I have ever owned. A great car to look at and well put together but thats about it. I was so concerned about the lack of power that I took it to Awsome GTi to put it on the rollers. Turns out it was making more power than standard.

On the upside it was fairly practical because of the hatch and lack of rear seats but my wifes coopers S felt faster and more fun to drive. I think I was maybe expecting more than I should which is why it came and went within a few weeks.

moonigan its anice daily snotter, nothing more nothing less, its basically a golf so its no anything special but for my daily drive, its more than enough powerful, it looks lovely...... so im pretty happy with it as a daily car, it fits the bill perfectl, but if this were my "special car" it would be gone already as its just nothing special, great in the bad weather though ;-)

You bought a car and then sold it in a month? Respect. Anyway, for exactly this reason (i.e nothing will match the M experience for thrills) I've just bought this for a daily run around.

This taken after 8 hours with my DA polisher I should point out. It's not quick, it's very imprecise and it's very uncool. But when you are stuck in gridlock traffic most days, it's perfect. Surprisingly thirsty though even for an auto, just 28mpg, but I refuse to have a diesel.
