This is what I mean about lack of contrast...

RedBeltsOnRedLeather.jpg

...and if you do decide to go for red on red you'll have to be very careful about the shade of red you get

That will look quite good.

It will match the two tone silver exterior.

Welcome back JE

I was also thinking of red belts, not sure how the contrast would work but don't know if the silver would work with my white Z?

I'm keen to know if red seat belts can be fitted diy, or what the cost of fitting will be. The would finish of my interior nicely and seem to be the in thing at the mo

Only pic I have on photobucket - will get some more up

Nice to see somdone else doing the rx8 seats.
Were you inspired by Johns(john-z4) lovely Sunburst Orange diy builder, that he put rx8 seats in by any chance?

They do look good in a z

In a word yes - John also helped me fit them and saved me a lot of headaches and trial&error. I got mine for £80 (so call it £150 once fitted, backs painted, and with seatbelt guides) so saved about £500 on sports seats upgrade which was another big factor. Red seat belts would finish it all off nicely - along with a few other bits.

Sorry about the thread Hijack JE, welcome back mate and look forward to seeing what you have planned next.

Prob not lol, Im gonna be even worse with a freshly painted ///M bonnet and bumper and both front wings resprayed.

Well I guess looking on the bright side that 11 months 'off road' kept the miles down :D

So have you given up on more BHP now.???

Should of gone down the V8 route and made something truly special.!!

Yeah, it's probably got 20 miles less on it than it would have had if it'd stayed with JE....

Jonny, why don't you bring it,and yourself of course,to the National next weekend....not too late.
Be good to see you and your car,as never met either :D :driving:
