Here we go again

Bit more context, the 3 lights came on, switched car off and then it came back just with the top one on it's own. Turned off again and three lights again. Guessing brake sensor/pads maybe?

Definitely need the codes read. I had this cluster recently and it pointed to the steering angle sensor - which is a ball ache of a job to replace (and currently on back order at GSF & ECP). My friendly indy plugged his diagnostics in and managed to recalibrate it and i'm a week down the road and the lights have stayed off.

For info - if any of these lights are red rather than orange then I think that would point to wheel/speed/abs sensors as you suggested.

Worth looking into.

Hopefully just an abs sensor, probably near side front, but could be the ABS pump. I had similar on mine, from memory one light more than the usual stuck ABS pump error.

Get yourself an obd dongle off Amazon and either torque if you have an android phone or bimmerlink or android/apple.

One off costs and always handy. Torque works with any car virtually.

Even ABS pump isn't too bad, I had mine reconditioned when it went and it's guaranteed for life now

Any recommendations Steve? Have an android phone, so would be Torque whatever that is :rofl:

This is one that I have

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vgate-Scanner-Bluetooth-Version-Diagnostic/dp/B075R62FTH/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=3OM58Z78IYNOC&keywords=vgate+wifi+obd&qid=1661800526&sprefix=Vigate+wi%2Caps%2C80&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE1NjlNSUlKVkQyRzAmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAyNTIyOTEyWE5GMURBOE9FU085JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAwNDM4MzQxU1U3MFNYNEJLWldPJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

There are cheaper but that will work with bimmercode as well.

Torque pro from google play is around a fiver from memory

That's a pain Mark!

I got those same 3 lights when my battery died a couple of years ago and they stayed on after I fitted a new battery.

Took my car to Ross at RBM and he cleared them by resetting the steering angle sensor - hopefully the fix isn't too involved. :thumbsup:

Thanks to Ben using his Creator 310+, we got codes 5E30, 5E32 & 5E35, all relating to DSC sensor - acceleration. Unfortunately the Torque app couldn't find any codes, and another app found the 2F45 code which I'm not sure was relevant. Either way looks like I'm facing another expensive DSC sensor bill :cry: :evil:
