HELPPP Window Regulator

So im doing my window regulator as mine is knackered and it appears someone has been there before.

Basically the T40 screw that holds the glass to the mechanism has been rounded off.

HOW IN THE HELL DO I GET IT FREE!!!!!!

I can't recall where it's located/access, but can you get to it to drill a small hole in it and use a 'screw removal tap'?
Alternatively with a piece of hack-saw blade, cut a slot and use a conventional screwdriver?
