I have owned BMW in the past and I am now interested in buying a Z4 coupe with an auto box. I live in Northern Ireland and they are pretty scarce on the ground, let alone available for sale. There are plenty of roadsters but coupes only come along once in a blue moon and they are priced accordingly. Essentially I'm going to have to travel to GB to get my hands on one. I would really appreciate any advice that you guys could give me in relation to my search. Which car should I buy with what spec etc. I've read a lot about the car on various forums and they seem to be universally loved by those who own them. One of my main issues is that I can't even get a test drive in one as there have been none for sale over here for months. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Be patient, look around see whats available. Go and see the most local one you can if you're still making your mind up. It was a no brainer for me with regards to the coupe auto. The manual just wasnt up to the task and why buy a floppy top when it rains 60% of the year??
Anywho - cars do pop up. Check here, autotrader, ebay, bmw auc, gumtree, pistonheads, etc daily.
Spec wise, all depends on what you want. Theres a cracking car for sale on here right now for 12k.
