Help with this part please

Does anybody know the name or the part number of the part marked “8” on the diagram? It bolts onto the back of the front aluminium support plate. Even better if someone has one spare.

It’s the big thing bottom left, the numbers seem to be the very faint ones

Thanks [ref]kis[/ref]. That suggest this part is a N52-only fitment, which is bizarre given the reinforcement plate has fixings for it, and it’s absence leaves the rear part of the gearbox / clutch pipes etc exposed. Can anyone confirm what hangs off the back of the front reinforcement plate on an M54 model, if anything?

Not sure anything does (hangs off the back of the front reinforcement plate on an M54 model).
Find one and try fit it :fuelfire:

I believe it's for an "M" car. It directs air over the transmission for better cooling. If you tell Real OEM that you have an "M" car you will be able to see the part number.
