Help with Soft Top

I'm pretty sure he has revived some and I think he keeps a few working ones on the shelf, but maybe worth asking when you make contact.

Hi, just to let you know I took my car in to Ross at RBM yesterday and he's reconditioned and relocated the motor - brilliant job and I'm now happily able to put the roof down and enjoy the lovely weather. Thanks for your help - very much appreciated.

I'm really glad to hear this and it's encouraging to know that these tops can be reconditioned to work properly!!

I wish I could find a reputable person here in Los Angeles to do the same. I've run into constant problems here with shops and mechanics messing up the roof installation and function.... still doesn't work right. Arrrgh...

Hi

It wasn't the top that was reconditioned, but the main motor for the roof. Apparently it was waterlogged (a common problem I understand) so it was taken out, dried out, reassembled and then relocated in the boot to prevent the original problem from happening again. I hope you manage to get your roof sorted out soon.

That's great news - just in time for some sunny weather too!
