Hi, Im about to buy some new alloys for my pre facelift Z4, i wanted to see what was the best offset. The alloys im currently looking at are BBS LM Rep "19" offset 40F / 45R tyres 235/35/19 front , 265/30/19 rear. Is this a pretty close setup to the original sizing, as im seeing alot of people on here with 40 40 or even 35 offsets , what would you recommend ?

Welcome to the forum.
I suggest you introduce yourself and your Zed in the newbie section.
As for your question, assuming your new wheels are 8.5'' and 9.5'' wide they will fit fine with those offsets. Your only problem may come if your car is lowered.
I run the same size wheels with an offset of 35 all round, the only difference is that I run 225/35/19 on the front as it keeps the rolling radius closer to the originals but plenty of people run on 235s without issues.
Oh and if you want to improve the ride quality ditch the run flats

Thanks for quick reply yes it is 8.5 , 9.5, the tyres are changeable before i buy so if they are a better fit changing them to a 225 isnt a problem and they are not run flats but standard, just didnt want them sticking out.The Car is a standard z4 2004 3.0se with 37,000 miles, so hasent been lowered. Is it possible to lower it by 30-35mm with that tyre size of 225/235 and have no rub problems?
