I have recently bought these LED number plate lights, but the connection are different.

Has anyone got any suggestions of good LED number plate lights they have used and was a straight swap?

These are the same ones I purchased and they work perfect on my ///M once you pop the old units out take out the old bulb and just push the connector into where the bulb was you may have to turn it over to get the polarity correct, I'm well pleased with the look of mine

Here are some pictures of the connectors on my car and the unit I was sent. I have looked twice and there is no way to connect what I have to this LED

not sure what bit you have in the last pic but all you need is the cable in the first pic part plugged into the new bulb holder and the other end into the original car bulb holder and if the leds won't light up pull it out and turn it over polarity sensitive, they will work 100 % they do i mine

Success thanks everyone. I was actually looking at the connectors apposed to putting the new cable in where the bulb was. Sorry just having a thick moment.

Might get some of these for my Z4. So you just put the connector into the old connection and into the new bulb holders?

The new wire goes where the old bulb was. Simple when you know how. Thanks guys who helped.

So straight swap (no cutting/soldering etc)?

No nothing existing holder out, twist bulb out of holder, pull bulb out of connector, push new wire into connector where the bulb was, attach new holder/LED to new wire then test if works. If no light turn wire in connector round.
