Help with hifi / bluetooth

Hi all, hoping to find some answers on what I have and what I can do with it.

I've recently picked up my 2007 ZMC, and it has prof nav, and hi fi with dsp, and it had the cd changer option. The latter has been replaced by an iPod kit of unknown brand (old style connector). No factory Bluetooth.
However I found a parrot ck3000 Bluetooth phone kit hidden under the steering wheel. Sadly although it seems to connect ok, you can hear the person you call, but they can't hear you. Phone is iPhone 6s. I have located the parrot control box in the panel above the ashtray, and also found a Aux input there.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any issues with this kit and iPhone 6s? I thought a software update might be required but it would prob cost half as much as replacing it with a newer kit, and I'd love to be able to stream via Bluetooth as well? Would my dsp hifi limit my choices?

I also found that adding a lightning cable adaptor onto the iPod kit works fine, but does not charge the phone :-(

I had thought about going for retro fit BMW Bluetooth (before I found the hidden parrot), is it terribly outdated these days?

Thanks!

This is a good option if you have the nav screen
As you get new sub menus displayed
I think you also get a visual display of the parking sensor when reversing

Thanks for the reply although I can't see how that kit adds anything other than iPod integration that I've already got?

Has anyone got a Mki 9100?
Will Bluetooth streaming work properly through all the speakers on my DSP unit if I replace the existing hands free with one of these?
