Help with facelift lights

Can someone please explain what coding out rear lights means ? I’ve fitted a set of facelift lights, switched a few wires around in the connector but it seems that the brake light works off the similar feed as the parking lights? Could anyone shed some light on this problem

It means coding the car rather than messing about with wiring. NCS Expert/Carly needed to set them up correctly.

coding the car is to remove the T effect and supply with 12v instead of 6v to stop the slight flickering. Also run a wire from the working reverse light across to the other non working one so you have both lit up. again do this for the fog lights to get both to work
