Help With European Part

Howdy-Hey.

You certainly know American cars come with an airbag sticker on the sun visors. Yeah it's fugly. I've watched and tried tips to remove the stickers, and nothing really works.

Is there an angel that could help me buying European sun visors? eBay.co.uk only have one and it looks in poor condition. New is OK, but saving a few pounds/euros on a used pair (in good condition) would be nice. For clarity, I'll pay for everything. You are the angel finding it for me.

Thanks,

Marc

I see one on there for £59.99, looks in good nick to me. It's UK driver side.
Surely you can remove the stickers with some elbow grease and some WD40 rather than pay 120 quid for a pair plus US shipping which would be what...another 50-70???

Have you tried 'Skin so soft' from Avon, the makeup company.
It works really well at removing stickers

I think the visors are rubbish.
Something like this would be better if could be modified.

Just looked on ebay, all sorts there, i think new project coming up.

Thanks, Stash. I had seen that one. There’s a discolouration at the right end. Not interested in that.

The problem with Google is the results are ‘local’. Not only eBay. Everything. Junkyards, dealers, tuners, etc. I need an angel in Europe to search in Europe. I’m asking my family ... but it’s my family.

If you make to SF and have time to kill, please look me up, and we’ll go to Alice’s or something. And if you bring a pair of visors with you, I’ll recompense you for your troubles. Oh, pack a jumper. Summers here are nippy.

Thanks, Bobby. Not interested in remover ideas. I want European visors. Is it possible to look up a pair at your local parts shop or junkyard? Thanks.

Keep car: the partnumbers depend on the interior of your car:

Yes, Robbi, that’s the part. But I need an angel in Europe to search it for me. Searching in America only return American model with the airbag sticker. Could you please run a search for me? Thanks.

Parts Gateway were pretty good when I needed some bits for a neighbour's car.

You specify what you want and they seem to have a list of breakers (junkyard) - they might do an export deal, so pay with a credit card to protect yourself

The general question might be, if any of the dealers will send it to the US. The parts itself will be available in EU, no question.

But the main info is still missing from you: leather or not? Have a look at the part list.

Sorry. Black leather.

If you find it locally and they don’t deliver to America, we’ll have it delivered to you and you post it to me. I’ll pay for everything. And send you a genuine Made in China Golden Gate Bridge fridge magnet. :)

These parts are incredibly expensive! :o :o :o :headbang:

Update:
It seems to be a bit more complicated. The exact car type and prod. year is required.

Well, I'm pretty sure that you should be able to order the correct part numbers "51169139099,2051169139100" even in the US. The differences are explained in the above diagram.

Thanks, Robbi. It's a 2016 35is N54 assembled in April 2016. But I'm pretty sure the visor remained the same for all years, for as long as it's black 'leather'.

Oh, no, I'm not going to buy a visor for 500 euros. Mamma raised only half a fool. Used in mint condition they cost 50 euros.

Sadly, local sellers, dealer, car parts, breakers, etc, only carry visors with stickers.

Just place a search order on eBay for these EU part numbers. There are several Z4 part sellers in UK, so be patient...
