Help with Dension Gateway please

Hi

I have a 2003 E85 and it has had a Dension Gateway fitted. The cable is the old flat one for a iPhone 4. As I have an Iphone6 I wanted to add the cable. It can see an auxiliary connection but as soon as the phone is plugged in there is an on off alarm from the phone. Any ideas?

I have an iPod touch somewhere but wish I could find it!

A lightening (iPhone 6 onwards) to 30 pin (old style iPhone) adapter should do it. About £30 from apple though cheaper elsewhere.

Otherwise Dension do their own lightening cable / adapter (LIA1GW0) which I use without issue. Compatibility depends on which Gateway you have.

I would steer clear of the aux input due to inferior quality.

I ordered a cable from Denison USB to lightening and my iPhone 6 just buzzes every second.

The 30 pin to ipod touch works perfectly so I am not without sounds.
