A couple of weeks ago when I had my car in a local indy for something else, I asked them to clear the drains below the roof cavity because I could see water when I looked down into the gap between the hood hinge and the door when the hood was open.
Yesterday I had the hood down, and I saw the tell-tail glint of water down there. I can think of a number of explanations:
Before I go round and rant about explanation 1, does anyone have any comments on the others?
I'm wondering about getting an inspection camera like this one. Any (clean) suggestions about where I should stick it?
I've seen messages on the forum that refer to using a vacuum clean to clean out the cavity, but I'm not sure how large a tube I can use or, again, where I should insert the tube.

- They didn't actually clear the drains
- They cleared the drains, but they've become blocked again, possibly because of debris inside the hood cavity
- The water I can see is unconnected with the hood cavity
