Help w/ dashboard display

According to the owner's manual, in order to change my computer display (odometer>mpg>miles to empty, etc.), I need to press the "b/c" button on my turn signal, but no such button is on my signal. Any ideas where else to look?

I have a 2008 3.0i with a 6-speed Steptronic transmission.

Oops - my 2006 3.0si coupe (with auto step too) has a large button on the stalk on the left of the drivers wheel (which also operates the turn signal). Worth another look or photo?

p.s. My e60 also operates this way.
 
It's the button on the end of the indicator stalk which cycles through the OBC displays.
 
Yeah the user's manual has a diagram with a button labeled "B/C" at the end of the turn signal stalk, but that button isn't on my model, so I'm at a loss where to look. I'll try to get a good pic to post when I get home.
 
When its on the mode you want to reset, hold the end button down until the value resets :)
 
If you don't have the button as shown in the picture below, then you must have a spec that none of us on here have seen before.

Srikbe - welcome to the Forum. A small bit in the Newbie section with a few details about your Zed and youself always helps. :thumbsup:

As for rhe 'button' - different countries have diffreent specs so where did the vehicle originate from? If an original supply through an Isreali dealer it may not have the onboard computer fitted as an option for vehicles in Isreal - just a thought.
 
Yeah, I definitely don't have this button and it's a US model that I shipped to Israel when I came over here.

Not all the lower spec models have OBC certainly on E46 derived models.

Ahh yeah that makes sense... the limited few E46 i have seen have had an OBC... and all the other BMW's i have driven have been fairly high spec.....

But the op has a 3.0!
 
a lot of features are country specific, in the UK we get CD changer pre wiring but not all other countries do. In the USA they get Bluetooth pre wiring but we don't. All UK Z4's have alarms but again not in the USA, the list goes on.....
